What started out as an idyllic drive with their parents suddenly turns  into a runaway stagecoach careening towards certain destruction. When the girls find themselves stranded in the desert with no help in sight, they find new friends and learn to appreciate and have compassion for others who are not like them.  It all seems to be the making of a great adventure… until they must make a decision that could jeopardize their chances of ever returning home.

 Where in the World is Arizona?

Arizona is a southwestern state.It is right on the Gulf of Mexico. It sits between New Mexico and California. Arizona was the 48th state to be admitted to the United States. It is most famous for being the location of the Grand Canyon!

  • Their name means – people of the blue green waters.
  • They live on a reservation with their own laws, police, and government 
  • But they are also US Citizens

  • The Havasupai use to be lead by a cheif who made all the decisions for the tribe. 
  • Now they are lead by a tribal council.
  • Peace is very important to these people and they try to work together till they reach agreement on matters.
